A Newer New Car!
Sooooo…off we went to see the good folks at Honda of Hollywood today to meet up with the lift conversion people.
As Nick and I were busy signing paperwork, the manager came up to us and said, “Gee, I’m really sorry, but we just spoke to the lift conversion people and they said the silver van won’t work for you.”
Oh, well, I thought. That’s that.
“So”, he says, we’ll have to give you the upgrade to the EX with the power sliding doors, the moon roof, the alloy wheels, all-station climate control and spoiler.”
Oh, darn.
Wait, WHAT????????? True! Our FREE Honda Element which was upgraded to an Odyssey has now been upgraded to an Odyssey EX. Have you ever??? We were dumbfounded!! Silver was very cool, but now we’ll be getting beautiful “Ocean Mist” (a gorgeous blue.) Unreal!
Juan, the very nice ramp conversion guy, drove it off the lot and told us it will be ready in 4-6 weeks.
Does Southern California Honda rule or what??
