<description>Wow! Cole, you have grown into a handsome and remarkable young man. I remember you quite well, and how excitedly you shared one of Mattie's poems with me, while I was in California and touring for Mattie's "Just Peace" book. I have also shared the story (quite often) of when you asked about the types of things that Micah (Mattie's service dog, now mine) did for Mattie. When I said Mattie taught him to sort laundry into dark/left or light/right piles for him, you wanted to know if that was because of the physical limitations of Mattie's disability. You cracked up laughing when I said, "No, it was due to adolescence inclinations of being a teenager. Why would Mattie do a chore that he could get his dog to do for him, while he played Gameboy?" You just laughed and laughed. Hoping you are well, and so happy to see that you are looking happy and good, and continuing to go to book signings! Peace to you, and your family.
